HACL works with many community groups to provide the best services possible. Here are some of the organizations we work with:
The Nova Scotia Association for community living
Nova Scotia Association for Community Living (NSACL) is a province-wide, not-for-profit association of people with intellectual disabilities, families, and others leading the way to build a just and inclusive society.
Veith House is a neighbourhood hub that provides services and opportunities to Halifax residents, connecting them with one another to build a healthier, more vibrant community.
The Club inclusion
The Club Inclusion provides social, cultural and recreational programs accessible to all people with disabilities. We enrich lives by building friendships, community and success.
Autism Nova Scotia strives to build community capacity to enhance understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of families and individuals living with ASD across the province.
nova scotia respite partnership
The NS Respite Partnership is a group committed to advancing the access to respite for families who need it across Nova Scotia. HACL values this task and has a staff member participating.
